Addis-Abeba [adis‿abɛba] (en amharique : አዲስ አበባ (Addis Abäba) [adˈdis ˈabəba] , « Nouvelle fleur » ; en oromo : Finfinnee, « Source naturelle ») est la capitale de l'Éthiopie. Cette ville d'une superficie de 526,47 km2 et peuplée de plus de trois millions d'habitants accueille depuis 1963 le siège de l'Union africaine.

Addis-Abeba est située au centre du pays, sur un plateau à une altitude comprise entre 2 300 et 2 600 mètres, ce qui lui vaut d'être la capitale la plus élevée d'Afrique et la cinquième au niveau mondial.
