Informations

The military forces of the Republic of the Sudan are the Sudanese Armed Forces, also known as Al-Quwwat al-Musallaha as-Sudaniyah. IISS in 2011 estimated that the number of regular forces was 109,300, while the Rapid Support Forces in 2016-2017 had 40,000 participants in the Yemeni Civil War (of whom 10,000 were returned to Sudan in October 2019).
