Informations

Mozambique's national armed forces are the Mozambique Defence Armed Forces, Portuguese: Forcas Armadas de Defesa de Mocambique (or FADM). They include the General Staff of the Armed Forces as well as three branches of service: Army Air Force, Navy and Army.

The FADM was formed in mid-August 1994 by the integration of Forcas Armadas de Mocambique/FPLM and the military wing RENAMO after the civil war ended.
