The Armed Forces of the Republic of Moldova, romanian: Fortele Armate ale Republicii Moldova), consists of the National Army (which can be divided into the Land Forces Command or the Air Forces Command) as well as the Trupele De Carabinieri which is under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The armed forces also had the Moldovan Border Police, formerly known as the Border Troops.
