Estonian Defence Forces (Estonian, Eesti Kaitsevagi), are the unification of military forces of Estonia. The Estonian Defence Forces include the Estonian Land Forces and the Estonian Navy. They also include the Estonian Air Force and the Estonian Air Force. The state's national defense policy is designed to protect the sovereignty and independence of the state and preserve its airspace, land, and territorial waters.

Its primary goals are to develop and maintain a credible capability that can defend vital national interests, and to develop the defense forces in a manner that allows them to interoperate with the armed forces from NATO and other EU member states in order to take part in all of these military alliances' missions.
