Vicenza ( vih-CHENT-sə, Italian: [viˈtʃɛntsa] (listen); Venetian: Vicensa [viˈtʃeŋsa]) is a city in northeastern Italy. It is in the Veneto region at the northern base of the Monte Berico, where it straddles the Bacchiglione River.
