Bratislava (, also US: , Slovak: [ˈbracislaʋa] (listen); Hungarian: Pozsony; German: Pressburg, formerly Preßburg [ˈprɛsbʊrk] (listen)) is the capital and largest city of Slovakia. Bratislava is in southwestern Slovakia, occupying both banks of the River Danube and the left bank of the River Morava.
