Q1 Tower (an abbreviation of Queensland Number One) is a 322.5-metre (1,058 feet ) skyscraper in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia. The residential tower on the Gold Coast has been the world's tallest residential building from 2005 to 2011. As of 2020 it is the ninth-tallest residential tower in the world and is the tallest building in Australia and the Southern Hemisphere, and the second-tallest freestanding construction in the Southern Hemisphere, behind the Sky Tower in Auckland, New Zealand.



The Q1 formally opened in November 2005. The landmark building was recognised as one of Queensland's icons during the state's 150th-birthday celebrations.

<p>The Posco Tower-Songdo or Northeast Asia Trade Tower (Korean: ?????-??) is a skyscraper at Songdo International City, the world's most expensive private real estate project in the Incheon Free Economic Zone, South Korea. </p>The 305-metre (1,001 feet ) building is now South Korea's fourth tallest, and has 68 flooring. It surpassed the previous record-holder, Samsung Tower Palace 3 -- Tower G in Seoul, when it. Although completed in 2011, the completion of its interior was postponed due to financial complications during a recession.The construction was intended to be a landmark of the Songdo International Business District that was assembled on unused land along the waterfront near Incheon. It includes 19 floors of class A office space, South Korea's tallest observatory on a luxury resort, the 65th-floor residences, and retail shops. The column-free flooring include an office lobby at ground level with Vermont slate stone walls and French limestone flooring.
