Ponte City is a skyscraper at the Berea Area of Johannesburg, South Africa, just next to Hillbrow.
It was developed in 1975 to a height of 173 m (567.6 ft), which makes it the tallest residential skyscraper in Africa. The 55-story building is cylindrical, with an open centre allowing additional light to the apartments. The centre space is known as'the core' and rises above an uneven rock floor.Imperial Towers | |

The Imperial a modernist style building designed by Architect Hafeez Contracter is a twin-tower ultra luxury residential skyscraper complex in the billionaires row of Mumbai, India which is one of the tallest completed buildings in India. In 2010 its construction was completed and the towers were inaugurated. It is home to influential individuals like Axis Bank CEO Shikha Sharma, HDFC chairman Deepak Parekh's son, senior lawyer Satish Maneshinde, The Daga Family of Betul Oil Ltd. and senior management executives of US private equity fund Blackstone.
