The New York Times Building is a skyscraper in 620 Eighth Avenue, on the west side of Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
Its chief tenant is The New York Times Company, publisher of The New York Times along with the International New York Times, and other papers. The building is 1,046 ft (318.8 m) tall to its pinnacle, with a roof height of 748 ft (228 m), and comprises 52 stories. The Spring Temple Buddha (Chinese: ???? and simplified Chinese: ????; traditional Chinese: ????) is a colossal statue depicting Vairocana Buddha located in the Zhaocun township of Lushan County, Henan, China, constructed from 1997 to 2008. It is located inside the Fodushan Scenic Area, close to National Freeway no. 311. At 128 metres (420 ft), excluding a 25 metres (82 ft) lotus throne, it is the second-tallest statue in the world as of 2018 (after the Statue of Unity in Gujarat, India with a height of 182 metres (597 ft)).
