Kigali [kiˈgaːli] ist die Hauptstadt und größte Stadt Ruandas. Sie liegt im Zentrum des Landes am Kagera in einer Höhe zwischen 1433 und 1645 m. Kigali liegt knapp südlich des Äquators, bedingt durch diese Lage ist das Klima ganzjährig sehr mild.

Die Provinz Kigali besteht aus den drei Distrikten Gasabo, Kicukiro und Nyarugenge. Seit 2015 gilt Kigali als sauberste Hauptstadt Afrikas.
